Chris is ecommerce director, managing director for quick commerce and new ventures, and CEO of Peckish - Co-op's quick commerce marketplace for independent retailers. Reporting to the CEO, he is responsible for the digital transformation, innovation and growth of the £8 billion Co-op food business. He built the Coop’s ecommerce business from scratch, and pioneered innovations such as robot deliveries, taxi trials, using digital technology to drive efficiencies for customers and colleagues, and new store formats like Co-op On The Go.
