Gastrofira has sole rights over the stand catering and hospitality catering activity at Fira Gran Via. You can place catering & hospitality orders for your stand directly, via Fira Gran Via’s online webshop Servifira. You can access the online webshop here.

Children

All exhibitor personnel must be 18 years of age or older. It is not permitted for any under 18's to be in the venue during build or breakdown. 

Cleaning

All stands, gangways and common areas within the exhibit hall will be cleaned overnight prior to the show opening day. 

Plastic sacks are available to purchase from the cleaners via the venue service desk. The sacks should be placed in the gangways within 30 minutes of Shoptalk Europe closing each evening. Cleaners will not dispose of rubbish left on your stand.

Deliveries & Shipping

Our appointed Freight, Shipping, Storage & Handling contractor is RESA EXPO Logistics, who can assist with the following services: 

• Unload / Reload of vehicles 

• Advanced Warehouse Service (the venue does not receive shipments) 

• Material Handling 

• Customs Broker (all non-EU shipments need a Spanish importer of the record) 

• Return Shipments 

• National / International Transport 

Before shipping any items to your stand please make sure you get in touch with the official handling company, RESA EXPO Logistics. You can refer to a quick reference shipping guide here. 

They will be happy to solve your doubts and offer their services for reception and delivery or unloading to stand of your materials. 

Please note that the venue does not receive, customs clear or store incoming shipments. If you intend to ship goods directly to your stand, you need to be there in order to sign off the delivery note of your transport company. However non-EU shipments need an importer of the record and cannot be consigned directly to the venue, as they will get stuck at customs.

Please note, that in the interest of safety, only RESA EXPO Logistics may operate forklifts and other lifting equipment within the halls. 

Disabled Facilities

Fira Gran Via is fully accessible for people with disabilities. There are multiple elevators that enable access to the different levels, disabled restrooms, dedicated parking facilities and more.

Gangways

To ensure the safety of all our attendees and exhibiting sponsors, there are a number of regulations that govern gangways: 

• All gangways must remain unobstructed and accessible at all times. Under no circumstances must any part of your stand, furniture, exhibits or displays, project beyond the boundary of your stand. 

• Emergency exits and gangways must remain unobstructed by any obstacle at all times. 

• Exhibiting sponsors should only work within the confines of their stand and are not permitted to canvass away from their stand space. 

Insurance

It is a condition of your contractual agreement that you must have in place adequate insurance in relation to your participation in the Event. The minimum limits of insurance required are £2,000,000 for any one occurrence to cover liability and any other relevant costs and expenses arising from your participation in the Event. 

You will receive a separate invoice for insurance from [email protected]. Insurance cover is provided by Inevexco, our appointed Insurance contractor. Inevexco will send a welcome email with details of how to access their portal.If you already have adequate insurance in place or would prefer to arrange your own cover you will be able to evidence this through Inevexco’s portal and once approved Customer Accounts will arrange a credit note for your insurance.

Music Licenses

Exhibitors wishing to play music on their stands should obtain permission from the Organisers. Please note that no live music is allowed during show hours. Exhibiting Sponsors are solely responsible for obtaining any licence(s) required to play music on their stand. 

Exhibiting sponsors using music systems must ensure that they are in possession of the correct licensing and that the volume must be kept to a limit of 70 decibels. A peak of 85 decibels for a maximum of two minutes is permitted for demonstrations twice per hour.

Noise levels will be measured throughout the show days. Please show consideration to other exhibitors at all times. 

Organisers Office

The organisers office will be located in Tibidabo Suites. There will be directional signage from the show floor should you wish to contact us.

Rigging

The official contractor for rigging is Fira Gran Via; for health and safety reasons they must carry out all rigging onsite. Lighting rigs, structural rigging and banners are only permitted above Space Only stands. 

All rigging is subject to approval by the Organiser and must be contained within the confines of the stand and may not overhang any gangways or neighbouring stands. Rigging may not be attached to built/stand structures or be used for structural support.

Security

There will be manned security onsite throughout Shoptalk Europe, if you would like to hire security specific to your stand, you can do so via Fira Gran Via’s webshop here. We strongly advise sponsors’ who have high-value items on their stand to arrange this. 

Please do ensure that you do not leave your stand (including your valuables) unattended at any time during build-up, breakdown or show open. 

Smoking

Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted anywhere within the venue. 

The abuse of alcohol, drugs and other substances can affect work performance and safety. Any person found to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other substances, which in the opinion of the Organisers constitutes a danger to themselves or any other person using Fira Gran Via, will be removed by security.
