Thea Mathias is VP International at Our Place, the California-born cookware and lifestyle brand on a mission to bring people together through the joy of a home cooked meal. Our Place creates beautiful, non-toxic, high performance cookware which has been a viral sensation since it launched in 2019. It has been seen in the kitchens of major celebrities including David Beckham, Lizzo, Cameron Diaz, Selena Gomez, Gwyneth Paltrow and many more. In this role, she leads the company's global expansion, overseeing market entry strategy, localization, and commercial operations across multiple international markets. Our Place is currently available in the US, Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and recently launched in France.

Before joining Our Place, Thea built a career that bridges strategy, public policy, and high-growth technology. She began at McKinsey & Co., before moving to the UK Cabinet Office, where she worked on the Mission-led Business review, a policy programme aimed at supporting the growth of businesses in the UK that are both commercially driven and generating positive social or environmental impact. Most recently, she held a senior role at Rover.com, a peer-to-peer marketplace that listed on the NASDAQ in 2021.
