Baz Saidieh is Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Ibex, the world’s first Innovation Merchant Bank, helping retailers and CPG companies unlock growth by connecting strategy, AI, and transformation to the global venture economy. His work spans targeted strategic interventions through to multi-year transformation programs, helping large organizations move faster, execute better, and deliver measurable commercial impact.

Baz brings 25+ years of growth and innovation leadership across retail, CPG, venture, and consulting. Today, much of his work is focused on helping corporations identify and deploy AI-led opportunities across growth, operations, customer experience, and transformation - combining strategic insight with access to world-class technical capability through Ibex’s proprietary AI platform and global network of AI builders and engineers.

Previously, Baz led Unilever Foundry, re-building Unilever’s global model for startup collaboration and venture-led innovation, generating more than $6 billion in business case value. Prior to that, he was the VC CEO & Partner at True, the leading retail and consumer VC/PE fund, where he led venture investing, startup acceleration, and strategic growth across the retail ecosystem.

Earlier in his career, Baz founded Accenture’s Global Medical Technology Practice and has advised, invested in, or helped build more than 50 startups. He is also the author of Polynodal Innovation, a framework for how large organizations can drive faster, more meaningful growth through venture-led innovation.
