Vlad Hanzlik is the Chief Content Officer at EMARKETER, where he leads a global team of analysts, editors, forecasters, and researchers delivering the world's most relevant, engaging, and actionable insights on advertising, commerce, and media.
A frequent commentator on the digital advertising and commerce ecosystem and co-author of some of EMARKETER's flagship research, Vlad focuses on translating complex data into the trends and implications that matter most to retailers, brands, and platforms making decisions about where to invest and how to grow.
At Shoptalk Europe 2026, Vlad presents new EMARKETER research on Europe's shifting consumer priorities — exploring why value-seeking behaviour is reshaping digital shopping faster than headline ecommerce penetration suggests, where the next phase of growth will come from, and what retailers and brands should do to capture it.
Before joining EMARKETER as Executive Editor in 2024, Vlad led the Retail and Consumer Goods Industry Perspectives team at Salesforce, where he shaped the company's global thought leadership, and spent eight years at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) advising senior executives on strategy, most recently as a Project Leader in London. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and is based in London.
