Giles works at the intersection of tech, strategy, and creativity. He helps turn digital complexity into growth for some of the world's most recognised retail and consumer brands like Burberry, Selfridges, Stihl, Woolworths, Molton Brown, Bonhams, and Crystal Palace FC. Sitting between the brands/retailers, future technologies, and best SI's and Agencies he has a unique yet impartial perspective formed from all three corners of our industry. He has also had a substantial and successful career in-house as the Head of Technology for Selfridges, responsible for the strategy, engineering and delivery of their Digital, physical retail, loyalty and omnichannel technology. Prior to that he was the Digital Director for Burberry and has also delivered technology innovation and transformation at John Lewis, Arcadia, Matalan, Unilever, Diageo and more. He is a MACH Alliance founding board member and a judge at on The People in Retail Awards 2024. He is currently advising, CTO, CPO, and CDO’s in various world-famous brands on broad aspects of Digital product, technology strategy and leadership whilst also supporting the industry's most global events and forums in speaking and chairing engagements.
