David Schröder

Co-CEO Zalando

As co-CEO and interim CFO David is co-responsible for the company’s strategy, with a focus on building the B2B operating system that enables e-commerce across Europe on and off the Zalando platform, and further developing Zalando’s unique capabilities and infrastructure. David has been part of Zalando’s senior management team since 2010, working as SVP Convenience until 2019, CFO until 2022 and COO until 2024. Before joining Zalando, he worked at McKinsey & Company. David holds a diploma in business administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. As interim CFO, David will oversee the Finance and Group Governance teams until a new CFO is appointed.
